Lateral Transfer
Students can apply for lateral transfer to higher education institutions and departments within the institution that implement equivalent education programs at the beginning of each semester, in accordance with the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfers".
Intra-Institutional Transfer: It refers to the transfer of a student to other diploma programs at the same level within the higher education institution in which she is registered
Horizontal Transfer Between Institutions: It refers to the transition from vocational colleges established by a university, high technology institute or foundations without being affiliated to a university, to independent vocational colleges established by another university, high technology institute or foundations at the same level.
For lateral transfer between institutions, the student must have a grade point average of at least 60 out of 100 for the semesters he/she is enrolled in.
Transfer with Central Placement Score: (Additional Article 1) If the student's central placement score in the year he/she registered is equal to or higher than the base score of the diploma program he/she wishes to pass, the student can apply for lateral transfer, including the preparatory class. The application calendar for lateral transfer to the program, the principles regarding the student quota and the procedures and principles regarding lateral transfers are determined by the Higher Education Executive Board. In accordance with the determined procedures and principles, the applications of the students are evaluated by the relevant boards of higher education institutions and their transfers are accepted. In cases where the application is more than the quota, the lateral transfer of the candidate as much as the quota is accepted by starting from the candidate with the highest YKS score and ranking.
Vertical transmission
Exam and placement procedures for successful students who graduated from vocational schools and open education associate degree programs to vertical transfer to undergraduate programs are carried out by OSYM.
