Nutrition Services
The Nutrition Services Branch Directorate ensures and supervises that the canteens, cafeterias and dining halls, which are operated to meet the nutritional needs of our students and employees, serve in healthy, regular and hygienic conditions.
Under the control and supervision of our Branch Office, lunch and dinner are provided to approximately 5000 people a day, in line with the menus prepared by considering the energy needs of our students.
One of the most important nutritional facilities of our campus is the Sıtkı Koçman Student Palace. In our facility with a private dining hall, a la carte restaurant, table d'hote dining halls and cafeteria with a seating capacity of 1200, the service of cheap, delicious and healthy food is offered with options.
The food service of our students studying in our units in the districts is carried out through the contractor companies with which an agreement has been made as a result of the tenders made by the Department of Health, Culture and Sports.
Canteen-cafeteria services are provided in all faculties and colleges of our university. In addition to the canteen - cafeterias operated by the Health, Culture and Sports Department, our canteen - cafeterias operated by the independent companies within the framework of the principles we have determined serve our students and employees.
Our students and employees can obtain the products and materials they need in daily life (hot - cold food and beverages, stationery, market products, etc.) from all our canteens and cafeterias below market prices. Particular attention is paid to the quality and cheapness of the goods and services offered for sale in our canteens and cafeterias. In our facilities where we provide this service, our operating policy is not commercial, but purely for social purposes. The control and supervision of our canteens and cafeterias are carried out by the Nutrition Services Branch.
In addition, in our canteen - cafeterias, there are TV, music cabinet, table tennis, chess and billiard tables for our students to spend their free time, and a great number of people benefit from this service.

Canteen - cafeteria services are provided in all faculties and colleges of our university. Our students and members are able to obtain the products and materials they need in daily life (hot - cold food and drinks, stationery, market products, etc.) from all our canteens and cafeterias below market prices.
Health Service
The treatments and examinations of our students who document that they or their families do not receive any treatment aid from any social security institution (SGK (SGK, S.S.K., Bağ-Kur)) are carried out in our Mefharet Koçman Health Center and in the health units affiliated to the health center, within the framework of the Laws, Regulations and Decisions in force. In 2009, “Student Health Card” was issued in the name of 579 students and given to them. Today, the treatment and examination expenses of a total of 3642 students are covered by our Office. In 2009, a total of 173,000 TL treatment expenses were paid to health institutions and organizations and pharmacies on behalf of our students.
In addition, our students, who are excluded from the scope of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Student Health Affairs and Health Reports Regulation, can have their treatment and examination, except for dental treatment, in the health center and other health units affiliated to the health center, if they wish. However, expenses related to examination and treatment (assay, examination, drug costs, etc.) are not covered.
Services in our Health Center are carried out as medical services and consultancy services. medical services; Institutional medicine, general polyclinic, periodic health screening polyclinic, smoking cessation polyclinic, first aid polyclinic, follow-up units, laboratory services and nursing services are provided.
In 2009, 1.00 TL was collected from our students who applied to our center to have their examination and treatment done, in line with the decisions of the Higher Education Executive Board and the Executive Board of our University.
Consulting services are free; Regardless of their social security status, all students in need can benefit from these services. Consultancy services; psychological counseling and guidance, reproductive health counseling, career counseling, disability counseling, healthy life counseling.
