Credit and Hostels Institution
In our University Campus; There are two dormitories operated by the General Directorate of Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution. Among these dormitories are the National Lottery Girls' Dormitory 1500; Prof.Dr.Ethem Ruhi Fığlalı Male Student Dormitory has 1800 beds.
Admissions to the National Lottery Girls' Dormitory and the Prof.Dr.Ethem Ruhi Fığlalı Boys' Dormitory are made centrally by the General Directorate of Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution. In order to help our university students solve their housing problems, we have created dormitories, hostels, apartments, student houses, etc. Provides information on accommodation facilities.

Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (MSKU) is preparing for the new academic year with the dormitory building with a capacity of 4,000 students, which it has built in addition to the existing student dormitories. MSKU, which stands out from other universities in different provinces of our country that were founded in approximately the same years, both in terms of its preference and academic success, solves the problem of accommodation to a large extent with its newly built dormitory building. Muğla, one of the most important tourism cities in Turkey, stands out as the province with the highest housing demand in our country due to its tourism potential. However, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University carries out important studies in order not to reflect the high rent fees due to the intense demand for housing due to tourism to its students. In addition to the dormitories affiliated with the Higher Education Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK), MSKU provides very comfortable alternative accommodation at reasonable prices with the Residorm Dormitories located in the campus. However, with the KYK dormitories with a capacity of 4,000 students built in addition to the university dormitories in 2019, Muğla is preparing to prove its maturity in becoming a student city.
MSKU, which provided successful students with accommodation in university houses with affordable rent in the previous academic year, aims to spread the "Student-Centered University" approach to the whole of Muğla with the concrete solutions it offers. The fact that the buildings built by the Mass Housing Administration (TOKİ) have reduced the rental prices, that all the demands of the students are met in the newly opened girls' dormitory and that there are vacant quotas in the dormitories are considered the most important indicators that the students do not have any problems with accommodation in our city.
